Two Worlds

This necklace was inspired by the unconscious mind of human beings. Each rhinoceros head symbolises the conscious and unconscious, which seem to be the opposites but are connected seamlessly to one another. They are painted with layers of Japanese lacquer to achieve a deep black colour. The bronze flowers add a dreamy sense to the piece.
