Tasselled waistcoat, Somes region

This is a traditional men's costume from the Someș region. The shirt is made of matador cloth, in 100% cotton, hand-stitched with floral motifs. The belt is made of black fabric/velvet, hand-stitched with beaded floral motifs. The trousers are made of stretch fabric. The waistcoat is made of faux leather with embroidery on the front and silk tassels all over. The hat is made of black felt, trimmed with hand-stitching, beads and three-row peacock feathers. The boots are made of leather.
