Both an ethereal sculpture and a storage unit, this wall-hanging wooden city is LED-backlit and seems to be floating in mid air. Umberto Dattola used birchwood and basswood for the houses, and walnut wood for the inside. For a sparkling touch, the external wood is gilded with copper-coloured golden leaf. Each tiny house can be opened and used as a box.
