Sylvia Plath, Ariel (Faber & Faber, 1968)

This is a fine binding for a classic work of poetry. Bound in white alum-tawed skin with overlays of dark red and natural leather, it is also stamped with golden foil. The endleaves are made of plain terracotta coloured paper.
