These tall hand-turned vases are made with wood that is almost 2000 years old. Each vase is made of an oak foundation pole that was used for the construction of the Roman Limes roads around 125 AD. The vases were first preserved with a bio-resin and then turned into shape on a lathe.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
