Tapl Epu

This is a sculptural bowl-sculpture carved in a dark andesite rock from the Andes Mountains with the direct carving technique, inspired by the movement and fineness of a leaf. The edges of the piece measure 2 mm. The work is balanced on three thin pointed bases. The name of the sculpture means 'Leaves in the wind number 2' when translated from Mapudungun.
