Carpet

Based on a design by Benoît van Innis, this hand-tufted carpet echoes the immediately recognisable voice of the original creation. To translate the highly complicated design of the original painting into a woven language, Vera had to relay the essence of the original brushwork. The finished piece was integrated into a modern architecture setting to separate two distinct spaces.
