The sceptre and crown of Cosimo I De’Medici

This sceptre and crown were handcrafted from sterling silver and adorned with 18k gold plate and translucent red enamel. The crown features 8 deep red emeralds, eight iolites, a rich variety of pearls, three diamonds and a sardonyx chalcedony. Paolo Penko draws on historical jewellery pieces to design his original creations.
