Corals-inspired structure

A flat, rose-coloured, pâte de verre fern is mounted on translucent, sandblasted and engraved glass. Organic structures resembling corals feature on the translucent background disc. Accompanying the main piece is a microscopic slide label with pink and violet coloured spots. This framed wall piece was made for Verity Pulford's Gardens of the Mind project, which investigated macro and micro organic structures.
