Between the Tides (series)

This handmade white porcelain sculpture is part of Claudia's Between the Tides series, which has been sculpted by assembling numerous pieces of intricately worked porcelain piece by piece. Because of this method of assembly, Claudia uses a support material to which the porcelain adheres; it burns away when the final sculpture is fired.
