The Italian word reticello comes from rete (net) and the diminutive cello, meaning little net. It refers to the intricate crisscross of fine glass threads and air bubbles apparent in these works in the Liner Echo Series. The reticello technique is one of the most delicate and complex glassblowing techniques that exist.
