Brushstroke Beaker

This beaker sculpture was made from fine silver with 24 carat gold foil detail. It is a curved beaker shape, which was spun and hammered into shape and finished with a textured hammer. Gold foil was cut into strips and fused to the surface using the ancient Korean technique of Keum-Boo, creating asymmetrical organic markings.
