This sculptural glass form is part of Dóra Varga's Hexa' series, in which she attempts to capture the momentary nature of biological and natural processes. The hexagons create a matrix of forms connecting to each other. The layers created by the interior colours appear as distorted images through the surface of the lens, evoking a microscopic world. The lens produces a deconstructive process, generating a constant variable in the geometric sculpture.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
