Baroque

This red glass sculpture was inspired by concave and convex curves, characteristic architectural elements of the Baroque period. The colour and transparency of glass play a very important role throughout Zora's work. While carrying out experiments with glass, Zora discovered an inspiring combination of metal alloy and melted glass that captured her attention due to it being both transparent and non-transparent, raw and glazed, heavy and light, all at the same time. Combining these two materials offers new possibilities.
