This bronze elephant was handcrafted and cast following the lost wax technique and complemented with a crystal rock obelisk. The piece was created as a tribute to the Gianlorento Bernini's elephant, commissioned by Pope Alexander VII in the 17th century. It was adorned with the cloisonné enamel technique on gold plated silver with built-in emeralds, rubies, citrines and pearls.
