
This intricate embroidered lace linen was handcrafted using a centennial Cyprian technique known as Lefkaritiko. Margarita Raouna Charalambous created the detailed piece from memory, cutting eight threads of linen and leaving eight threads between each hole. The Irish linen fabric was worked on with DMC cotton thread.
