Vanitas (Vanity)

A bouquet of once-beautiful purple and white flowers made from lamp-worked Murano glass stands wilted and rotting in murky brown water at the bottom of a colourless borosilicate glass vase. The work's title, Vanity, questions the ephemeral nature of beauty.
