Osmos

Osmos is a solid silver perfume diffuser inspired by the oloid form discovered by Paul Schatz in 1929 and filled with scented beads. When the diffuser is hung up, its mass provides the necessary inertia to cause a rotating movement, allowing the air to circulate and release the scent from the beads. The idea behind the diffuser, designed by Felipe Ribon and executed by master silversmith Nicolas Marischael, was to revisit a “cassolette” (small container) made by master goldsmith Daniel-Jean Joubert in 1750.
