This micro-mosaic of the Gorgoneion is an exact copy of a 2nd century AD mosaic preserved in the National Roman Museum in Rome's Palazzo Massimo alle Terme. Fabio worked with the museum in the restoration of the original piece in 2010. The micro-mosaic was made using the Roman cutting technique.
