We are Green and Trembling

This is the illustration for the cover of the Gabriela Cabezón Cámara's novel. The illustration was created for the English edition, based on the life of Catalina de Erauso, a Basque nun who left the convent to become, among other things, a colonial conquistador in South America, a soldier, and a deserter. In the tropical jungle, she discovers a magical space where her transformation unfolds.
