The most recent inspiration behind Eva's designs is the structure of viruses. She finds an undeniable beauty in the viral life cycle, and the way these microscopic clusters of genes and proteins make their way around the world by infecting their hosts. Designed according to mathematical precepts, this thrown, altered and assembled porcelain sculpture explores the theme of recurrence, raising questions about the definition of harmony, asking why some forms are appealing and others are not.
