Mon Seul Désir brooch
Drawing its inspiration from the The Lady and the Unicorn tapestries in the Musée national du Moyen Âge in Paris, this brooch depicts figures suspended from a wheel, enclosed in a frame wreathed in ivy leaves. The text in enamel on the wheel reads Mon Seul Désir (My Only Desire) taken from the motto on a tent featuring on the sixth and last of the tapestries.
