Textured vessel with crystal-like glow

Ricus is adding increasing quantities of organic and inorganic materials to his clays. They quickly become apparent on the rough textured surface of the vessel after the final firing. The glaze expands during the controlled cooling in the kiln, producing a crystal-like glow.
