Hollow beads

Paola Scapin and Alberto Corte call these mosaic beads. Each element requires the same meticulousness and patience as a mosaic tile. The making process adapts a furnace technique to lampworking, producing each bead as if it were a small vase requiring the same glassblowing technique.
