Raute (Diamond) urn

Kristina uses white paper hand-made from hemp fibres to make discreet funeral urns for holding the ashes of our loved ones, an alternative to the conventional black of our funeral culture. For this model, the surface patterns were obtained by shaping the pulp on a negative mould. The material is stable and robust but also biodegradable.
