Sombras cercanas (Nearby Shadows)

This irregularly shaped plate was crafted from white refractory clays and fired at a high temperature. Using enamels of her own creation, Eva painted a monkey climbing a lone branch against a beige background. Random splashes of colour and scattered twigs create a sense of the jungle.
