Chinese Restaurant 7

Part of the Chinese Restaurant collection, this table lamp was created with sculptor's clay and finished in soft opaque colours. Each element was handcrafted and modelled into leaf-like segments that resemble the acanthus plant, following initial sketches. The series was initiated by a desire to create objects that were the antipode of traditional Scandinavian modern design.
