Shell

This piece, part of Iosifina's Flow series, explores curves. Using stoneware clay, Iosifina shapes organic forms, drawing on the form of an embrace and the warmth it provides. Everything is found in the balance between opposites: the inner becomes outer, the concave contrasts with the convex and the bright alternates with the dark. The coexistence of these opposites alludes to the complexity and harmony of nature itself.
