Lucas modelled this violin on the famous Guarneri del Gesù 'Il Cannone', made by Giuseppe Antonio Guarneri in Cremona in 1743. The instrument was entirely crafted by hand according to classical methods inherent to Cremona, Italy. The lines have been rounded to give it an elegant shape while conserving the typical powerful, deep and balanced sound of the model.
