Palm Frond frame

It took Georgy almost six weeks to craft this frame. He carved the mat with palm leaf motifs in limewood and used English walnut for the surround. The frame was then finished with a French polish. The piece is typical of Georgy's work, inspired not only by classical sculpture but also by paintings and drawings interpreted in woodcarving.
