In close cooperation with the client, Bastian designed this guitar down to the smallest detail. The result is a straight rock'n'roll guitar with a unique metal finish. The surface of the mahogany body was coated with iron powder in a special painting process and then sanded smooth and slightly patinated with a vintage-like finish using an oxidation process. This contrasts with the hardware which is completely chrome-plated with a high gloss finish. The discreet aluminum inlay and flamed maple neck add further visual highlights.
