Winged Seed II
This sculpture, crafted from porcelain, is an example of Simon's ongoing investigation of form and technique, as well as the relationship between strong lines and soft finishes. Part of the Wingeed Seed series, it was coated with orange engobe and fired at 1280°C in an oxidation atmosphere.
