Circle of Life
Circle of Life is a cotton calico wall hanging, dyed and hand painted with pigments. Its surface was textured with paper and fabric, using machine and hand stitch. It was created as a memorial piece for Nicola's mother, with sea gulls and wild roses depicting the wheel of life and regeneration.
