Large plate

This earthenware plate, a replica of a 14th-century piece displayed in Limassol Castel Museum, Cyprus was decorated using the sgraffito technique. Brown-yellow and green hued brush strokes enhance the engraved decoration depicting a female holding a jug in the right hand and a fish-shaped beaker in the left hand.
