This sculpted bird on a branch was handcrafted exclusively from iron. Every detail was carefully carved using different technologies, from hand cutting to hot forging. The realistic colours were achieved through heating the surface at different temperatures. The bird symbol was used by Oleg as a metaphor for emotions that can't be caged.
