This handmade book features 36 prints of Khachkars, or cross stones. The collection contains motifs from Armenian crosses found in Julfa cemetery, which was destroyed in 2006. In this book, each print is titled with an Armenian letter and is signed by the artist. This project is a personal homage to the art of Armenian crosses and aims to focus international attention on the systematic and ongoing destruction of Armenian crosses in various territories neighbouring Armenia.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
