Skinfaxi

This hand embroidered textile sculpture was created using an intricate embroidery technique developed by Sabine. What attracts and intrigues her are forms. Sabine abandons any construction hierarchy and frees her hands from these constraints. In Norse mythology, Skinfaxi is a fabulous cosmic horse, ridden by the god of the day Dagr and would illuminate the sky.
