Dark grey speckled tableware

This tableware set is hand thrown from a mixture of stoneware and recycled porcelain, which has been reduction fired in a gas kiln to bring the iron rich speckle to the surface. A simple rounded bowl is slightly tilted, while a side plate and dinner plate have fine rims with gently curved edges, but no foot rings. A transparent shiny glaze is used on the inside of each piece, with the unglazed clay providing a matt finish on the outside.
