Custodians of the Scholar’s Way

This book cover is part of six special bindings commissioned by the author for the Chinese edition of Custodians of the Scholar's Way published by Paragon Book, Beijing. In this book, Marcus Flacks continues his explorations into the great traditions of Chinese artisanal art. The cover design is inspired by the texture of the objects depicted inside the book, and the binding allows it to lay open flat.
