This piece is part of a collaborative project with other artists from the Paper Artist Collective, a global community of artists working with paper. It was made for a calendar which was sold to support Art Refuge. Latitude represents the month of November and the colours of nature at this time as you travel across the globe. It's made from paper strips which are hand cut and woven into a backing paper. The hexagonal forms interlock creating a dense texture.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
