This sculpture, part of Daniela Forti's Meduse series, was entirely handmade using glass fusing techniques, where glass is exposed to temperatures so high that they alter its molecular process, changing its shape and creating a new form. The delicate, multi-coloured body of this jellyfish-like creature is sustained with glass filaments, representing its tentacles floating in water.
