Potentiality I

This brooch, handcrafted from 100 percent silk habotai, is part of Georgia Gremouti's Golden Fleece series, a thematic trilogy based on the life cycle. Georgia encapsulates an array of seeds within the fabric and uses sterling silver for the armature and closure. The potential and promise carried within a seed, before the actual germination phase, was the inspiration for this body of work.
