These amphora shaped vases were created for an exhibition in Paris in 2017. As a reference to Paris as the city of fashion, Carine's vases were inspired by models on the catwalk. Women bodies nowadays are actively commodified in the same way, in a sense, as vessels. The vases were handcrafted in different types of wool, silk fibres, linen fibres and handmade paper.
Homo Faber Finds is a new service aiming to inspire admirers of craft to connect and collaborate with exceptional artisans.
