This wood vase, hand turned from black locust wood on a lathe, is part of Nicola Tessari bugNature collection. The pieces from the collection are inspired by the aesthetic of Italian masonry techniques, and aim to find a manner of working the surface without altering the physical properties of the wood. The search for a balance and dialogue between material singularities and creative expression are at the centre of Nicola's work.
