Piece of Memories #1

This piece of glass is shaped through glassblowing. The process of painting and drying the surface is repeated, building up several layers of lacquer. Once the lacquer layers are applied, the surface is ground again to reveal a textured lacquer. As Dongwan Kim uncovers the glass hidden beneath the layers, memories are recalled, adding a personal dimension to the work.
