The Stars Are Falling

This piece was inspired by the transparency and fragility of porcelain as well as being a play of light. Throughout her works Anne Türn likes to push the material properties of porcelain, both alone and in combination with other materials. Here she uses the transparent quality of the porcelain, combined with long fibre optic cables, to create a sculptural rendition of the moon and starry sky.
