Violon

The design of this violin is based on a model by Nicolò Gagliano. A rich variety of woods were used to build the instrument. Baptiste Bernard used spruce for the top of the violin, combined with maple on its back, sides and neck. The neck was finished with ebony and mother-of-pearl.
