Battle White High-res IV

Battle White High-res IV is a dynamic, contemporary piece crafted from willow, using the time intensive technique of rope wale (or rope coil weave). Drawn to sculptural forms, Alison's work evokes the high curves and edges of the British landscape – from the Yorkshire Dales to the Suffolk coastline – as well as the forms and patterns made into its terrain by water, wind and wave.
