Sea shells brooches

These sculptural brooches are very light and hollow. They have been handcrafted from a combination of sterling silver and copper, soldered together to create colourful patterns. Ülle Kõuts creates her jewellery using an ancient technique known as 'marriage of metals,' which consists of combining metals by soldering them side by side, exploiting their natural hues and textures to create intricate designs.
