This ceramic sculpture is part of Alison Brent's ‘Future Roots' series. The geometrical shapes seem to grow from the middle, and are associated to a light base colour with sparks of vivid colour. This hand-built piece was made using slip cast shapes and was then decorated in coloured body stains and enamel, using shades of light pink and pastel stains.
